    Lentinus edodes

    Le Shitake est cultivée depuis plus de mille ans en Asie et est toujours autant apprécié particulièrement au Japon en Chine et en Corée, ou il fait parti de la culture culinaire de par sa valeur nutritionnelle mais est aussi grâce à ses vertus thérapeutiques qui ont fait de lui un  symbole de longévité. C’est le deuxième champignon le plus consommé au monde après le champignon de Paris.

    Les recherches modernes ont commencés dans les années 1960 et représentent maintenant plus de mille études (1197). D’après ces études il a été reconnu qu’il pouvait agir positivement sur un grand nombre de pathologies dont voici quelques références :
