    Advice :

For all conditions of I. Urogenital system and V. Digestive system

For women and men, accompany the taking of Gemmotherapy

    of Bruyère Gemmessence of:

    - heather decoction (at least 3 cups / day)

    - Heather or Calluna honey (6)

    - Propolis or mother tincture of propolis (antiseptic)

    - Poultices or hot baths with heather decoction

    For women :

    - drink regularly throughout the day to urinate often, if possible

every two hours to avoid urinary tract infections (the urethra being

very short, the bacteria can rise in 2/3 hours through the urinary canal).

    - take D-mannose (sugar of vegetable origin which can drop Escherichia coli)

    For men :

    - do urethral exercises: push on the urethra as if to urinate

by giving small short blows (progressively up to 50 per day) then more sustained blows of several seconds (progressively up to 50 per day). This exercise can help restore flexibility to the urinary canal.

    - always urinate sitting down to have more force on the urethra.

    - take other plants:

    Urtica dioica (nettle roots)

    Epilobium parvifolium

    Pumpkin (seeds)

    For III. Skin apparatus

    Lavender honey in local applications

    Composition

Plot or Gemmessence harvests heather in Cestas, in the Landes Girondines.

Gemmessence mother extract is entirely made in France at

from plants harvested in areas with well-defined traceability composed of:

    - Bruyère mother macerate at 90%, harvested from an organic plot of Landes Girondines in Cestas

    - Cassis mother macerate 5%, grown and harvested on an organic plot of the Lot in Cessac-en-Quercy

    - Hazelnut mother macerate 5%. grown and harvested on an organic plot of the Lot in Cessac-en-Quercy

    Composition

    Arbutosides (Arbutin)

Carbohydrates, oses, osides (starch, gum, inulin, mucilages, sucrose)

Proteins, enzymes (diastase: arbutase which transforms arbutin into hydroquinone and glucose)

Organic acids, citric acid, fumaric acid, malic acid

    Phenolic compounds:

phenols: up to 1.5% arbutin, hydroquinone

flavonoids: flavonols (myricetin, quercetin), derivatives of apigenin, kaempferol

Proanthocyanidins (procyanidolic oligomers, 3-7% catechin tannins), anthocyanidins (leucodelphinidin)

    terpenoids: carotenoids (carotene)

    alkaloids

    resins

    traces of essential oils

Quercetin is a mono-amine oxidase (MAO) inhibitor considered important for the treatment of depression, anxiety, neurodegenerative disorders (Parkinson, Alzheimer). The associated flavonoids appear to have anti-depressant, neuroprotective and MAO isoform inhibitor properties.

Arbutin converts to hydroquinone and brings antibacterial activity to the urinary tract.

    Proanthocyanidins provide anti-inflammatory action.

    Botanique

    Nom latin :

    Erica vulgaris, Calluna vulgaris

    Botanique :

    Habitat :

    terres acides, landes siliceuses
